Diana was our first hound, she made us fall in love with the breed. Diana is H.H.Empire's mascot, as well as our very own resident Wonder Woman! She's an AKC registered European Basset Hound with championship lineage, and the sweetest disposition ever. You'll often find her "on patrol" inspecting hemp plants & keeping our grow safe from evildoers.

Lil Mo

Lil Mo is our only male. He is not a stud, because he suffers from a hereditary joint issue in his elbow. Lil Mo is the best helper with whelping puppies. He is also the star of his own children’s book series, Lil Mo, Adventure Hound. His book series is available in our store and from Amazon on Kindle and Paperback.

Honeybee is from Diana's Great Pumpkin Litter.  She and her sister, Dabbie, could not be more different. Honeybee is a quite calm girl who enjoys playing with her brother, Lil Mo. Honeybee is AKC registered, but will make an excellent Dame in the future.

Dabbie is a character. She loves attention more than anything. She can be very playful with her Hound brother and sisters but would rather have a hooman rub her chin. Dabbie is also from Diana’s Great Pumpkin litter, she is AKC registered and will be in our breeding program once she is a little older.

Basset Hound Puppy Purchasing Information

Our Process Is Simple

  1. Check: Scamper on over to our “The Hounds” page to find info on any future litters and available puppies.

  2. Contact: Reach out to us by text/email/Facebook to see how many deposits we have received for future litters. We accept a maximum of 6 deposits for each litter.

  3. Interview: We require some kind of video interview before you put down your deposit. This allows us to get a feel for every new owner. *We reserve the right to deny any application as we see fit.

  4. Read & Sign: Before officially placing your deposit, we ask that you read and sign the breeder contract, which will be sent to you via email.

  5. Deposit Purchasing: Once you have confirmed that a puppy will be available, go to our “Store” page and purchase the $550 Puppy Deposit. Please contact us before paying so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Payments can be made through other arrangements, just reach out!

  6. Post-Birth Updates: Once the puppies are born, you will receive weekly updates with pictures and videos. Buyers will select the puppy they prefer by 6 weeks old after the first visit to the vet. Buyer can choose before but I decision must be made by 6 weeks. Buyers on the deposit list will be able to select their puppy according to the order in which their deposit was received.

  7. Payments: Payments are outlined in the breeder contract and will be made throughout the whelping stage in order to provide care and vet visits to your new puppy.

  8. Homeward Bound: Enjoy your trip back home with your new furbaby, and what is sure to be a lifetime full of love! Ask us about delivery if you are unable to retrieve your new puppy yourself, we DO NOT release puppies to transporters due to poor experiences. We can deliver, deliveries will not begin until 9 weeks, please contact us for the cost of delivery.

    -Important Note-

    Deposits are refundable only in the following scenarios:

    1. The litter is so small that you are unable to receive a puppy (i.e. you are 5th on the list and there are only 4 puppies).

    2. The mother fails to give birth to any puppies (i.e. false pregnancy, miscarriage, etc).

    3. The litter does not contain the color and/or sex of the puppy you placed the deposit for (i.e. you place the deposit for a tri-color female, and the litter is all lemon males). In order for this to apply you must state your preference prior to the litter being born.

    All puppies are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and AKC-registered.
